2023 Wedding Trends

It’s finally spring! And wedding season is here. All of us at Flower Bar have been looking forward to this all winter long. We thought it would be fun to kick off the season by giving you some inspiration for your floral dreams. Each year there are trends that rule the year and we are loving what we are seeing for 2023. We’re going to share our top 5 favorites!

Vibrant Florals

Neutral tones are here to stay, it’s timeless and beautiful. BUT we are seeing an exciting shift for some brides, they are choosing bold and vibrant florals and we are HERE FOR IT. One of the best perks about this trend is we are no longer limiting ourselves to pastel and neutral-toned flowers, this trend is allowing florists to mix it up with flower choice and opens up so many more flower options! We love getting to play around with these exciting pallets.

MONOTYPE BRIDAL PARTY FLORALS

In our wildest dreams we couldn’t have thought of a more gorgeous wedding trend for 2023, monotype bridal party bouquets! A monotype bouquet is when you choose one type of flower from your bridal bouquet for each bridesmaid. This is an elegant way to incorporate the flowers in your bridal arrangement with your bridesmaids while showcasing the unique beauty of each of your friends. Pair this trend with different color bridal dresses and vibrant flowers and you will get a bridal party that is strikingly alluring and colorful.

DRAMATIC INSTALLATIONS

During Sharon’s extensive design journey, she has specialized in engineering beautiful floral installations. She loves creating the mechanics to make the piece simultaneously sturdy and stunning. It’s so fun to watch her brain turn as she brainstorms how to create a piece that is sure to add a wow factor to your wedding day.

CAKE GARDEN

We’ve been obsessing over this trend, we aren’t even sure what to call it. We’ve heard it called wedding cake nests, cake gardens, and so many more. We like the term cake garden though! A simple sweet cake atop a bed of bright flowers. This is a fun way to incorporate more florals into your day and keep the cake simple, just one less thing to worry about. We will work with you to make this vision come true and make it a focal point on your wedding day. Plus it will make those cake-cutting photos even cuter!

BUD VASE CENTERPIECES

And last but certainly not least, bud vases for guest seating! This is an innovative way to make your floral budget go even further and spread flowers throughout the whole wedding venue. Bud vases are sleek vases that are meant to hold a few flowers. It adds such an exciting flare to your centerpieces and provides a gift for your guests.
